Goodwill finds for 01.26.14
Today my friend and I decided we were going back to
our old stomping ground; Seattle, Renton and Tukwila Goodwill. Around noon we
headed north on I-5 dry but gloomy day. As we neared Seattle the sun started to
break. This was a great day in bargains; all the green tags were 50% off today.
If you go tomorrow all the green tags will be $1.29.
I have been looking for a weird size bookcase for
behind my desk at school, I needed it to be 2’ high by 5’ long and 2’ in depth.
Well I found something that isn’t quite those dimensions but it will work just
fine, I think. It happened to be 29” long by 18” high and 16” in depth. I will
know tomorrow when I take it to school. I’ll let you know what I think later. I
also bought 2 storage containers with hinged lids for $3.99 each, 1 Halloween
storage container for my daughter (to store kid’s clothes) for $3.99, 1 4-drawer
storage container for $3.99, 1 really cool wine holder box (since I don’t drink
wine, I think this will turn into a cool art project) for $2.99, 1 wire house
for a plant $4.99, 5 containers of 12 plastic kid’s hangers (for hanging
clothes for the consignment shop in Puyallup, May 1 – 4) for $.50 each. In
addition, I bought 2 Christmas dress (to sell next year at the consignment
